COVID-19 Community based screening

To accelerate or scale-up community-based screening for coronavirus (COVID-19), we urge you to conduct self-screening assessment using the MomConnect platform  which is linked to the Cmore app, and to record your results to the central portal for the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) as per section 7(h) of the Medical Schemes Act (MSA).

These directives are as a result of the challenges faced by the entire country in the fight against COVID-19 and the need for more tests and screenings to be conducted to ensure that the additional 8,5 million lives covered by medical schemes are assessed. This is fundamental in supporting the strategy of curbing the spread and growth of COVID-19 infections.

Online childbirth preparation classes

As part of your maternity benefits you have access to childbirth preparation classes (subject to your enrolment on the Mother-to-be programme).

With the country being in lockdown, we understand that not being able to attend your classes can be frustrating. In partnership with one of our maternity partners, DLA Group (Pty) Ltd, and in conjunction with Serurubele Centre childbirth series, CAMAF is pleased to offer you a temporary solution to attend real time childbirth preparation classes online in the comfort of your own home.

Classes are structured into 4 parts and are integrated with each other in a holistic approach to the journey of birth & your newborn – therefore, your participation in all 4 is important. Please do also read through the Terms and Conditions of Class attached to the Booking Form PRIOR to enrolling!
